ING Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon participants, spectators and Expo attendees are encouraged to utilize MARTA for their weekend transportation needs.
ING Georgia Marathon Health & Fitness Expo is Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at the AmericasMart Building 3. Visit the Expo page for hours and directions, click here. The Expo is accessible from the Peachtree Center (N1) Station.
Race participants planning on using MARTA for transportation to the start on race morning, Sunday March 25, are encouraged to plan ahead and allow ample time for arrival. The most accesible station for the Start/Finish area is Five Points station. Peachtree Center (N1) station on the north-south line and Georgia State University (E1) station on the east-west line are alternate destination stations, just a short distance from the start. MARTA has provided the following train schedule information for Sunday morning and approximate travel time to Five Points station from the end stations of each line:

Doraville (NE10) 4:38 a.m. - 25 minutes to Five Points station
North Springs (N11) 4:45 a.m. - 25 minutes to Five Points station
Indian Creek (E9) 5:09 a.m. - 20 minutes to Five Points station
Hamilton Holmes (W5) 5:01 a.m. - 10 minutes to Five Points station
College Park (S7) 4:54 a.m. - 14 minutes to Five Points station
North/South line trains will have an average of 20 minutes lapse time. East-West trains will have an average of 15 minutes lapse time.
Participants and Expo attendees can purchase MARTA Breeze One-way Fare passes at the Expo on either Friday, March 23 or Saturday, March 24.
