Race Participant Research Study

The Institute of Public Health and School of Health Professions in the College of Health and Human Sciences at Georgia State University, and the School of Public Health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in partnership with Georgia Marathon, LLC, are conducting another on-line (internet-based) survey among registered participants in the March 30, 2008 2nd ING Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon. Runners, walkers and wheelchair participants are eligible. Some of you may have participated last year; the majority of this survey is different, and builds off what we learned in last year’s study (surveys and in-person measures).

Your participation will require approximately 20 minutes any time between the morning of February 22nd and the night of March 30th. To read more information, complete the informed consent process, and answer the survey, please click here.  The total time for participation will be approximately 20 minutes, with a consent form taking about five minutes and a main survey taking about 15 minutes. Participation is voluntary and is intended for registered race participants only.
