Traffic Alert
Due to ongoing DOT construction around the 14th St bridge and scheduled repaving of 3 lanes of   northbound I-75/I-85 during March 28-30, in addition to street lane closings for the race, participants, volunteers, spectators, and the community are strongly urged to take MARTA rather than drive on March 30, whenever possible.   The closest MARTA Stations to the start/finish area are CNN Center and Peachtree Center.

Information for the Community
The 2008 ING Neighborhood Challenge showcases the neighborhoods along the course and encourages spectator participation. Neighborhoods compete at up to 10 designated Cheering Zones for 3 top award grants of $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500 for neighborhood fitness initiatives. The Cheering Zones are judged during the race on the number and enthusiasm of spectators  cheering on the race participants.
