Mizuno Pace Team
The ING Georgia Marathon is proud to have a unique group of enthusiastic runners leading pace groups for the following finishing times: 3:40, 4:15 and 5:00. Pace groups are designed to help participants reach the finish line while maintaining pace, staying safe and most importantly, having FUN! 3:40 Pace Group Leaders:
- Cliff Issacson - Expierenced runner, triathlete and mountain bike racer. Has completed 4 marathons. PR 3:37 at the inaugural 2007 ING Georgia Marathon. 43 years old. Favorite movie: Das Boot.
- Daniel Dietz - 36 marathons with a PR of 3:08 at 2009 Des Moines Marathon. Half marathon PR of 1:26 at the 2009 Kiawah Island race. Paced 3:40 team in Chicago for 9 years. 51 years old.
- Sean Pfister - Atlanta Track Club Masters Competitive Team. Former pacer for Chicago Marathon and current pace team coordinator for Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon. Completed 18 marathons with a 3:01 PR. 1 and only 1 Ironman. RRCA certified running coach and Chattahoochee Road Runner's coach.
4:15 Pace Group Leaders:
- Debbi Legg - Pacer for the 2007 ING Georgia Marathon. Phidippides/Mizuno Racing Team. 35 marathons and 6 ultra marathons. 43 years old. Favorite movie: Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
- Lynn Mooney - Pacer for the 2007 ING Georgia Marathon. Phidippides/Mizuno Racing Team. 2006 Masters Winner in Atlanta Marathon. 26 marathons and 10 ultra marathons. Marathon PR 3:14. 45 years old. Favorite movie: Love Actually
5:00 Pace Group Leaders:
- Ellen Ressel, Linda Stone & Trudy Hearn - Experienced marathoners and half marathoners. Members of the Chattahoochee Runners Club.
