As one of the racers joining us for the ING Georgia Marathon & Half
Marathon, you’re about to experience one of the most beautiful running
events in the country. Springtime in Atlanta is one of the most
beautiful places to be. We are excited to share thisTrue Southern
Tradition and the best 13.1 miles and 26.2 miles that our city has to
offer.On race day you can look forward to:
A start/finish location at Centennial Olympic Park, easily accessible by numerous MARTA stations.
A staged start where racers will be able to line up by anticipated finish times.
A Mizuno Pacing Team ready to help you stride for stride to the finish line.
24 Hydration Stations along the course, starting at Mile 2 with plenty of water, Gatorade and supportive volunteers.
6 Cheering Zones and a course full of spectators cheering you through every mile.To enhance your race weekend we want you and your friends and family to visit the
Health & Fitness Expoat the Georgia Dome. You have two days, March 27 and 28 to pick up your
registration packet, and hear one of several notable national speakers
coming just to motivate you.I wish you strength and dedication
in the last few weeks of your training. Together with my race team,
we’ll be waiting for you at Centennial Olympic Park on March 29 for the
